openPetition/openDemokratie Mit mehr als 12 Millionen jährlichen Nutzerinnen und Nutzern ist die gemeinnützige GmbH openPetition eine der größten Petitionsplattformen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Nutzerinnen und Nutzer werden beim Einreichungsprozess von Petitionen und bei der Kontaktaufnahme mit Ausschüssen und Abgeordneten unterstützt, um parlamentarische Prozesse und den öffentlichen Einfluss auf sozialen Wandel zu stärken.
Die Kampagne #BloodyLuxuryTax zeigt eine für Frauen, Non-Binary- und Transmenschen ungerechte Situation auf - ganz einfach, weil CIS Männer nicht ihre Tage haben. Die Mehrwertsteuer auf Damenhygieneprodukte sollte für alleEur gleich hoch sein - egal ob eine Frau oder ein Mann das Produkt nutzt.
Dieser Fall ist nur EIN Beispiel von vielen, in dem soziale Gruppen in unserer Gesellschaft durch ein bestehendes Gesetz bzw. eine bestehende Steuer benachteiligt werden.
Mit Petitionen können Menschen gemeinsam dafür sorgen, dass solche Ungerechtigkeiten aus der Welt geschafft werden. Mit der aktuellen Kampagne “Petitionsrecht 4.0 - Mehr Dialog, mehr digitale Beteiligung” setzt sich openPetition für ein noch wirksameres Petitionsrecht in Deutschland ein.
